Paola Maria Savoia | Abstract Spiritual

Paola Maria Savoia is an awarded, experienced and talented Italian fashion manager who started her career in the mid 80’s by giving birth to the first franchise of international fashion schools called “Esse Moda”.

Together with her wide entrepreneurial knowledge she always nurtured her artistic nature, creating artworks inspired to both a traditional spirituality and a contemporary abstract style.

At the age of 16 she created her first fashion school in Genoa and, in a few years, she gathered over 600 students coming from all over Italy... after such a great success she opened other fifteen
national schools and three international schools (Japan, Marocco, Korea). In a short time Esse Moda became the first franchise dedicated to the professional education and many other enterpreneurs asked the help of Paola to successfully launch their businesses.
With a group of 60 teachers she’s been the leader of the italian fashion schools, working side by side with reknowned stylist like Elio Fiorucci, Raffaella Curiel, Beppe Modenese, Rooberta Di Camerino, Francesco Pellati

In 1995 she met her husband, movie director Max Leonida, with whom she creates one of the first and most prestigious national school of performing arts: Accademia dello Spettacolo.

In 2003 she founded Astarox, an international video production company, immediately attracting the attention and the loyalty of important customers like: L’Orèal, ATM, Sony Pictures, Milwaukee, GeFi, Roche, Bayer, etc.

In 2008 she started producing feature films (Mandala the symbol, Backward, RUN) She's currently an American citizen, living and working in Iowa where she co-owns a production company that realizes movie projects and provides a full package of services to the companies that want to invest in projects based in the United States of America. She also organizes international and cultural events (“Gusto Italiano”, “Tracce di Mille Miglia”, "Epicureology") in collaboration with both private and institutional partners (the Italian Cultural Institute and William Penn University).
